Description

Guiding a group of 2 people along the path on Liatach, light rain which made the rocks quite slippery so careful group management was key.
Good visibility. The 2 clients had a lot of hill walking experience which made this day really appropriate and fun for my group.
Clients had excellent feedback and were really happy moving on that terrain, I did make it very clear that if I felt the ridge wouldn't be appropriatefor them then they would have to respect that decision so I made a few very key places where I would have had the opportunity to assess there ability and fitness before committing to the more exposed terrain.

Area : Cuillin and Torridon (Liathach)

This area is on the west coast of Scotland and its most well-known mountains are probably Beinn Eighe (1010m) and Liathach (1055m). The area is bordered by Loch Maree and the A832 to the north and Glen Carron and the A890 to the south. It should not to be confused with The Cuillin which is on Skye and listed in the Western Isles region. The mountains list contains all peaks above 800m.
