Description

group size - 2 clients
Experience - good and current hill walkers but lack confidence navigating in the mountains.
The group wanted a journey day, they were staying at the Torridon hotel, I was working for Torridon outdoors.
Route description-
starting at the hotel we walked out onto the annal trail then did a anti clockwise route around Mail Chean Dearg, just as we came up and over the saddle the wind was funnelling quite strong through and really bad visibility.
I took a bearing from there to find the path as the path disappears between mail clean Dearg and meall nan ceapairean.
It was quite a long day for the couple but they really enjoyed the physical challenge and enjoyed being out in fairly challenging conditions.

Area : Cuillin and Torridon (Liathach)

This area is on the west coast of Scotland and its most well-known mountains are probably Beinn Eighe (1010m) and Liathach (1055m). The area is bordered by Loch Maree and the A832 to the north and Glen Carron and the A890 to the south. It should not to be confused with The Cuillin which is on Skye and listed in the Western Isles region. The mountains list contains all peaks above 800m.
