Description

Guided one client from Seathwaite along the Bridleway right at the shelter. Had to manage the steep ground at the cross junction grid NY 21730 07422 at the same steep ground on the decent from the summit I had to spot and support my client as the ground was steep and loose scree. The client was very nervous.
Sunny all day. Managed water and topped up sun cream throughout the day. Descended down Ruddy Gill path.

Area : Southern Fells (Scafell Pike)

The Southern Fells Include Scafell Pike, the highest peak in England, occupy a broad area to the south of Great Langdale, Borrowdale and Wasdale. High and rocky towards the centre of the Lake District, the Southern Fells progressively take on a moorland character toward the south west. In the south east are the well known Furness Fells, their heavily quarried flanks rising above Coniston Water.
