This area encompasses all the crags in Strathspey north of Kingussie and also those in Strathnairn. These crags are described in the chapters of the SMC Highland Outcrops South guidebook entitled 'Strathspey' and 'South of Inverness', with the exception of Creag Dubh (which is in the West and Central Highlands region in DLOG).
First few pitches of a teaching climbing day with Guila and Julia. An opportunity to check their skills and go over some belaying and stance management before heading on to a multi pitch route. We used stepped corner as a mini multi pitch to paint a clear picture of what was to come on the longer route of drum.
