Description

DofE Gold Practice Expedition - Day 3 - Edge Hill University 2023. Working as an ML and DofE Expedition Assessor. Heavy Rain and strong winds as we trekked up from Llyn Gwynant Camp Site onto the Watkin Path and over Bwich Cwmilan at the slate mine works and descended to the Rhyd-Ddu Rail Station Car Park and the finish.

It is located in Snowdonia National Park (Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri) in Gwynedd, and has been described as "the busiest mountain in Britain". It is designated as a national nature reserve for its rare flora and fauna.
