Tough day today with the heat and the climbing. One of the team had broken some toes and another was tired and not doing great.
I called the stop early and we stayed at an unplanned refuge for the night. I couldn't carry on with the team and make it out of the valley in time and it would have been dangerous to keep going into the night.
I had to use the satellite phone to the support team and get them ready as I brought the two guys down the mountain during the night. They could not carry on with the expedition.
