Bergerie de Ballone to Castel de Vergio.
Today was a shorter day. We covered around 16 km and it took us 6.5 hours. There was a fairly decent climb up to 2040m. After it was a relaxed approach on the descent. It was nice to have a more restful day on the lower ground and enjoy the day as a team. The weather was warm on the lower ground but up top the winds were very strong with a wind chill. A couple of times we took shelter to adjust our layers and keep up the fluid intake.
