Bellingham to Kirk Yetholm on the Pennine way. Tough conditions. Rain, floods and heavy snow at times. I took Scott and Nikki on a recce of the Northen / last section of the Pennine way. The weather was really bad. Lots of rain and wind. Luckily the wind was mostly in the direction we were travelling in. We had to take a detour just before Byrness as the whole track was flooded. Scott lost his footing crossing a fast flowing stream up in the cheviots and we had to move quickly to safety hut one so that he could change into some dry clothes. He was in quite a bad way for a short time. We got him sorted though and continued without any more problems.
