This area includes the weathered limestone sea cliffs around Bridgend (Ogmor and Witches Point crags), as well as the inland limestone and sandstone areas surrounding Merthyr Tydfil and Abergavenny near Cardiff. Morlais Quarry, Dinas Rock and Trebanog are also included. It does not include The Gower.
Longtown Mountain Rescue LMRT. Crag rescue training day. Instructor team familiarising with new top safety, lowering and raising equipment. Petzl maestro and rescucender. Very good day working with stretchers over crag edge, setting up belays and abseiling.
