2 day winter skills - cairngorms
Day 1 - The sun is shining! We took advantage of the good weather and did a journey around the northern cairngorms, we then descended 1141 and did some more skills on the left flank of 11541.
Day 2 - Feshie hills, we did another journey day in the feshie hills to escape the crowds. looking at navigation and putting skills intop action and making safe decisions etc.

Area : The Cairngorms

The Cairngorms are ‘a little piece of the arctic in Scotland’ according to the SMC Munros Guide and the area contains many of the tallest peaks in the East Highlands. Ben Macdui (1309m), Cairn Gorm (1244m) and Braeriach (1296) are probably three of the better known and the whole area is full of steep corries and high plateaux. Access to the mountains is typically from Aviemore or Braemar.
