Description

I led the first 45m and Alex led the second.
We stayed on the 'knowledge' line.
The second pitch was definately NOT hvs, more like E2 5b. Really rotten rock with alot of lichen.
Brilliant name for the route becauise on second it was lovely to have Alex tell me where to go because where you want to be is definately not where you should be.

Area : Skye and Raasay – Sea Cliffs and Outcrops

Skye is perhaps more generally well known for the Cuillin mountains, but it also has a large amount of excellent sea cliff and outcrop climbing, mostly on columnar dolerite (such as at Kilt Rock, Staffin and Neist, and at the Trotternish crags in the north). In contrast, the cliffs of the Elgol region are composed of an unusually pocketed light coloured sandstone, and with stunning views over to the Cuillin, they will not disappoint. Also included here are the cliffs of Raasay, reached by ferry from Skye.
