I led a 2-3 hour hike to explore the Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye. The weather was partially cloudy with no wind, providing ideal conditions for a leisurely and enjoyable walk. The hike covered 7.64 km with a modest ascent of 468 meters, making it a pleasant and scenic outing. As the leader, I ensured the group maintained a comfortable pace, allowing everyone to enjoy the stunning views of the pools and surrounding landscapes. The Fairy Pools are known for their crystal-clear water and picturesque setting, which made this a particularly rewarding experience for the group. The hike was relatively straightforward, with good paths and clear navigation, making it an excellent introduction to the natural beauty of Skye for those less experienced in hill walking. Overall, the hike was a success, with the group enjoying both the physical activity and the scenic environment.
