Led a 4-hour hike up and around The Storr on the Isle of Skye, a truly stunning and iconic landscape. The weather was perfect, with clear skies and no wind, allowing for breathtaking views throughout the hike. Although relatively short, the hike involved a significant ascent of 817 meters, making it a rewarding and enjoyable experience. The route provided a mix of steep climbs and rocky paths, which required careful navigation and steady pacing. As a leader, I ensured that the group maintained a comfortable pace while taking in the remarkable scenery. The hike was a fantastic experience, combining physical effort with the natural beauty of The Storr, making it one of the most memorable hikes I’ve led.
