The first day of this international trek through the Dolomites was a demanding yet exhilarating journey, covering approximately 56-58 km with nearly 2900 meters of ascent. The weather was perfect, with clear skies and no wind, allowing for stunning views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. The route included several significant passes, such as Passo Posporcora, Paternsattel - Forcella Lavaredo, and Forcella de Lerosa. The terrain was challenging, with steep and hilly sections that required careful pacing and stamina.
