The second day of the trek through the Dolomites was another demanding yet spectacular journey, covering 56-58 km with nearly 2900 meters of ascent. This leg began with the ascent to Passo di Giau (7,336 ft) and continued through several high passes, including Forcella di Zonia, Col Piombin, and Forcella Ambrizzola.The weather was ideal, with clear skies and no wind, allowing for breath-taking views throughout the day. The terrain was challenging, with numerous steep climbs and descents, but the stunning beauty of the Dolomites made the effort worthwhile. The clear conditions provided uninterrupted views of the rugged landscape, making this day an unforgettable part of the trek.
