Clockwise circuit of the Ring of Steall with a client - we opted to tackle the wire bridge/ river crossing first, after parking in the lower car park and walking up to the Nevis Gorge path. conditions were pretty good in the morning; clear skies and impressive views, but cloud moved in from the south and conditions deteriorated throughout the day, with limited visibility by the time we reached the Devil`s Ridge. Snow cover was variable, with considerable accumulations of windslab on the Devil`s Ridge combining with a small cornice to make some sections quite tricky to negotiate.
