Description

Temp: 2 @ ground: conditions: clear turning to whiteout for a time. Underfoot: wet through to solid snow near the summit.
Started at the layby, headed North up Glen Ample.
Attempted to head up from the Northwest side through the heather, but hard going. Started to descend, then found easier approach at 594155, snow firm, could kick in steps, terrain good without too much risk.
Descended via the hill walkers path.

Area : Strathyre to Strathallan (Ben Vorlich)

This area includes the eastern edge of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, and the Glen Artney Hills. Access is typically from the A84 or A85.
