Description

Kieloch to Sandy Loch. Stuic Ridge which wasn`t quite in best condition. Can a Choire Bhuidheach 1110, Cac Cam Beag 1155 and return to Sandy Loch.
Big day. Never got above -1 degrees. Started in the dark and finished just as it was getting dark. Minus 20 with wind chill. Spent the day chasing the sun, we were in it for a bit on the tops which were beautifully frozen.

Area : Braemar to Montrose (Lochnagar)

Listed in the SMC Munros Guide as ‘The East Mounth: Glen Shee to Mount Keen’, this area includes all of the peaks to the south and east of the A93. Still part of the Cairngorms National Park, these mountains are home to the north facing crags on Lochnagar (1155m) and the most easterly Munro, Mount Keen (939m).
