Working for YHA Edale, running a variety of walking sessions from 2 hour night hikes, through to full day (8 hour) hikes with various groups 3-4 days per week. Some of these included navigation courses at various levels from orienteering for beginners, to NNAS Silver for adults. Areas included the Kinder plateau, Edale vally, Mamtor - Lose Hill - Cave Dale circuits, Miller`s Dale.

Is situated between Sheffield and Manchester. The underlying rock is Millstone grit which is often exposed at the edge of the higher peat bogs for which the area is famous.
