The workshop will be delivered by Alan Halewood who has experience of working on MCI Training / Assessment courses at both National Centres.
Alan will contact candidates with arrangements and logistics prior to the workshop.
This is an open workshop delivered over two days. The Trainer will, depending on weather and ground/snow conditions, develop the sessions around WMCI Assessment syllabus and criteria. It is anticipated that candidates will have a number of syllabus areas that they would like to address over the two days. Typically this may include approaching climbs, transitions from mountaineering to climbing and vice versa, teaching climbing, avalanche education etc. The content and weather/conditions will dictate venue choice but the aim would be to deliver the workshop at a couple of contrasting venues.
