A workshop looking at crag rescue techniques and how to teach these skills to clients. The day will start at the climbing wall, with an afternoon outdoors at a local crag if the weather permits.
The day will be broken down into -
*Discussion of experiences of crag rescue and teaching.
*Looking at equipment carried during work and play.
*Basic scenarios, and looking at the breakdown of teaching the parts that make the whole and different alternatives.
*Time for participants to set rescue scenarios for each other.
*Debrief
You will need to bring harness, helmet, rescue rigging kit as per personal preference, plenty of locking crabs, prussiks and slings, your own collection of devices.
