FREE LAKE DISTRICT - INTRO TO MOUNTAIN RUNNING
This is a peer led fell-running event in the Lake District designed to bring MTA members together to network, share ideas and plan future events in the area.
The Lake District is bursting at the seams with amazing fell runs and epic trails that are ready to be explored.
This social is open to all levels of ability’s and fitness – Over the course of the day we cover around 8-10k (the exact route will be confirmed on the day) across a range of ground.

What to bring: Personal fell-running equipment. Please dress appropriately for the weather and terrain. Food and water.
Hosted by: Jack Oliver is working towards his Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor qualification and is an MTA Support Volunteer for the Lake District. He has run the Ramsay round and Paddy Buckley round and works on regular running events across the country. He is also training for a winter Iron Man.
This is a peer-led event and as such attendees are responsible for their own welfare and must adhere to Covid-19 government guidelines regarding safety and social distancing. Please do not attend this event if you are displaying any Covid-19 symptoms.
