The  workshop will run from 9.30am to 4.30pm Tuesday 5th July, with an online Zoom session from 6.30 to 8.00pm on Monday 4th July.

This workshop is open to providers, course directors and any course staff involved in the delivery of Mountain Training climbing leadership awards; Indoor Climbing Assistant, Climbing Wall Instructor,  Climbing Wall Development Instructor,  Rock Climbing Instructor  and Rock Climbing Development Instructor, as well as Rock SKills scheme who wish to further develop their knowledge and skills in the delivery of these award schemes.

Due to Covid mitigation, this workshop will include an online session on the Monday 4th July 2022 to reduce time spent together indoors and reduce the potential risk of infection.

Tuesday 5th July will then be held at the Big Rock Bond climbing centre. 

Sessions throughout the workshop will include an update on the Mountain Training awards pathway; practical activities and discussion of any issues related to the delivery of the climbing schemes, exploring any relevant topics that have arisen from candidate feedback and quality assurance visits, and a discussion on the use of CMS.

The workshop is non-residential. The cost doesn't include lunch or refreshments.

This workshop needs a minimum of 6 bookings in order to run.
