   CPD Weekend

This CPD weekend is being hosted and delivered by Plas y Brenin in partnership with the Association of Mountaineering Instructors.

It will be held at Plas y Brenin over the weekend of the 26th and 27th of November 2022, with guest speaker, James Mchaffie, providing a talk for us at 8pm on Saturday evening. Tickets for the talk will be free for those attending any of the CPD workshops, or £5 on the door if not. 

This weekend is geared towards building on skills and knowledge of mountaineering and climbing, as well as giving you the knowledge to look after yourself both on and after the mountains with a range of workshops that have been kindly put together by Plas y Brenin and the Association of Mountaineering Instructors. 

All bookings are to be made through the Candidate Management System (CMS). Please make sure you book the whole weekend before choosing your individual workshops. There are full day and half day workshops available for both Saturday and Sunday, please ensure none of your workshops overlap. Most importantly, afternoon tea & cake will be provided for those booked on.

Refund policy for any bookable events: Workshop attendance cannot be cancelled online; attendees need to call or email Mountain Training. If cancellations are received up to eight weeks before the course attendees will get a full refund. Four weeks before the course, 50% refund. Less than four weeks before the course date no refund unless a reserve is able to fill the slot. If a particular workshop has very low bookings it may not run and you will be offered an alternative.
