Supporting participants to generate feedback has been shown to greatly increase the retention of information. This workshop will look at what we can do to support participants to generate high quality feedback. We will also explore how we support this through varying
task design and utilising extrinsic feedback effectively. In addition to the above the principles of assessment will be explored, including how we can create the optimum assessing environment for our participants.

This workshop is open to both full and trainee AMI members and will be a mixture of practical and classroom activities. The workshop will start off in the La Sportiva Room. Please bring rock boots, harness, rope and chalk. And a warm jacket…

This workshop is delivered by Daniel Wilkinson – WMCI and co-author of ‘Coaching Adventure Sports’. Dan is also a qualified Internal Verifier, experienced course director and assessor for both Mountain Training and British Canoeing.
