This IRATA course has been organised for AMI members by AMI Members. It will include delivery of the full IRATA course alongside piers allowing additional content to be added to the normal level 1 course.

IRATA training and assessment would be beneficial to any members operating in areas which may be considered beyond the scope of the MCI award, for example route setting, film and tv safety work, ropes course & climbing wall inspection/maintenance, rigging from artificial structures and delivering rescue training. In addition it would open up potential employment opportunities in rope access.

IRATA level 1 is internationally recognised and candidates will complete 4 days of training then attend a 1 day assessment. 

The IRATA course will be delivered by two AMI Members and IRATA Level 3s meaning a 1:4 ratio allowing plenty of time to cover additional topics

The course will be run in Kendal.
