WORKSHOP CONTENT
We explore the blanket bog that covers the heart of Dartmoor, noticing the dominant plant species, learning how they have adapted to the nutrient-poor conditions, and searching out insect-eating sundews. We see how degraded peatland has been restored. Finally we drop down to visit areas of valley mire beside fast-flowing streams.
The session is for everyone who wants to help their clients appreciate the special qualities and value of these habitats.
