These popular daytime sessions are complimentary for MTA members. They prove particularly beneficial if you're gearing up for evaluation in a Mountain Training walking leader award like ML or HML, or if it's been some time since you last honed your skills.

While there may be a general plan for the day, the agenda is open for everyone to contribute and suggest activities. Previously, we've seen individuals preparing for HML assessment collaborating with seasoned IMLs.

We'll kick things off with a brief discussion, formulate a plan together, and take it from there.

At least one ML will be present including Jack ( MCI ) to ensure everyone's safety throughout.

Be prepared for a few hours outdoors. Essential gear includes a headtorch and compass. I have spare maps available if necessary, though you might prefer to bring your own.
