A one day workshop looking at Decision Making and Leadership in the outdoors. During the course of the workshop in the morning session we will explore your ethos to the outdoors, the attributes of a good decision maker and leader, the influences on decision making and inspiring those who you lead. Then in the afternoon we will further explore the above through some outdoor practical sessions.
The course will be staffed by Alan Halewood and Sandy Paterson - both trainers and assessors with a long time involvement with training and assessing on the Mountain Training qualification schemes including at Mountaineering Instructor level.
Prior to the course you will be sent a link to an on-line resource, hosted on the MTS Teachable platform, consisting of a 20–30 minute course, to facilitate attendees to think and consider their personal decision making and leadership, rather than the theory, allowing them to engage with, and thus benefit more from the workshop.
