Description

This was supposed to be an ascent of the Grade 3+ Nor Nor Buttress, but turned into an exploration of the VDiff North Buttress: choosing our line, using short rope techniques and small rack. Finished on the Terrace Wall traverse and up to the top that way.
Two pairs: I paired with Rob, while Jethro and Lotty climbed after us.

Area : Glyderau

The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
