Les Gets, French Alps
‘Day 2 - Exped 2011’.
Sunny all day. Walked from Chalet Bluebell (Les Gets), took telecabine to from Les Gets to Mont Caly mid station, followed track SW through woods, ascended to ridge line. Transceiver checks. Followed off-piste route to la Gouille Sallee [Peoples Pimple] for lunch and transceiver, probing and shovelling lesson, carried out some searches of buried units. Descended to track on east aspect, them to Mont Caly, descended (snow and grass) to Magi for pick-up.
