Day 3 - Exped 2011’.
Overcast start to day, cold in woodlands. Started at le Sincemeret (1235), to les Clares, to Chapelle de Jacquicourt (1600), descended to Molllieux (alpage hut), woodland trail via les Prizes to les Clares (swiss style hut) back to le Sincemeret. Avalanche transceiever drills and snow pit evaluation in open land north of Chapelle. Spotted woodpecker and squirrel feeding signs.
