Les Gets, French Alps
‘Day 4 - Exped 2011’.
Cold start with sunny PM. Drove through Morzine to Vallee de la Manche. Started at l’Erigne devant, headed up to the bridge through open land and woodland to Chardonniere (1346). Investigated snow profiles, and ‘Nivo Test’. Headed to Cascade de Chardonniere, then down to le Chamy and ‘Crapahutte’ (hot drinks) before heading back to start.
