Description

VS 4a-4a. Ian and I climbed. I took P1, Ian P2. Not a lot of gear, but tree rock is hard, compact and solid. It has been very dry for the past week, but there was still some dripping water on the crag, and this made the start of the second pitch quite slimy.

Area : Llanberis Pass

The one-time crucible of Welsh climbing. The fine crags of the Pass are easily accessible from the road. On the north side, the principal crags are: Dinas y Gromlech (bearing the famous line of Cenotaph Corner), Carreg Wastad (flat rock) and Clogwyn y Grochan. Further down the valley is Craig Ddu (black rock). On the south side, the principal 'roadside' cliff is Dinas Mot.
