Description

Date is approximate. We have done this route many times in all weather conditions and all times of year. Starting from Edale we headed North towards Grindsbrook Clough but taking a sharp right blow The Nab to join a path to the summit of this fell. From here we would head North to Ringing Roger then West over Nether Tor, Upper Tor, Hartshorn and along to Grindslow Knoll. This was a particular favourite in summer, when we could hear the Skylarks and see crickets in the grass whilst heading down Grindslow Knoll. From there it was a simple stroll to Grindsbrook Booth and return to the train station.
