Welsh 3000ers with dad, supported by GMC with 'refuel' stops at Nant Peris and Ogwen.
Route the busiest I've ever seen it.
Lots of people on Crib Goch, early.
Groups, difficult to get past.
No wind for most of the day. Good visibility. Too hot going up Elidir Fawr, this nearly defeated me and I was ready to bug out when dad was still waiting for me at the top. Slowed my dad down. Kept meeting people on the hill I hadn't seen for ages. Fantastic views in every direction. Went down Bristley Screes- seems in better condition than it has been. Tryfan very busy. Managed to get some grub down on ascent of Pen y Ole Wen and had a burst of energy, almost leaving dad behind. Misty on Cardneddau. Very cold by final summit, icy wind got up. Finished in 14 hrs 20 min.
Did whole route in the light. Met James at the road head.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
