Description

I had set a few days aside to run mock L2L days on trad with keen folks. A very wet and windy day meant we were forced inside however on this day and Matt was keen to climb so I covered as much as I could in an indoor environment using M10 bolts for belays in various positions on a wall and the lower off station.
This included a brief look at some trad gear without placing any and what are good placements and the type of cracks we're going to be placing them in. Setting up belays using a rope and using slings, standing belays and belays with gear in reach and out of reach.
We also looked at abseil set ups and Top Rope set ups using various methods before a quick hours climbing to get Matt used to lead climbing indoors again.
