Description

From Dildo lake to wall NE of lake and met The Roman Steps/Bwlch Tyddiad (lot of people enjoying picnics whilst sat in the middle of the path! Enjoyed views to East into the valley and beyond. Walked up to Llyn Du, onto Rhinog Fawr, snaking a steep descent to the pass at Bwlch Drws Ardudwy. My legs got ripped to shreds by bilberry, sun intense and struggling for shade. Very hot. Climbed up to Llyn Hywel, camping at north side.

Area : Rhinogydd

The Rhinogydd (a Welsh plural form, often anglicised as Rhinogs and also known by the alternative Welsh plural Rhinogau) are a range of mountains located east of Harlech in North Wales. The name Rhinogydd derives from the names of two of the more famous peaks, Rhinog Fawr and Rhinog Fach, although the greatest elevation in the range is reached by Y Llethr, 756 m.
