Helvellyn (950m). Summit 1 of a Lake District 3 Peaks with Explorers Connect and Belinda Kirk.
This was a 3 Peaks walk with Explorers Connect. An opportunity to meet Belinda Kirk and an group of like minded people.
Not a QML, but a valuable opportunity to see how a well known organization, "Explorers Connect:, organized and managed a large group. There were 20 clients and 4 Explorers Connect staff.
Helvellyn was the first walk of the morning. Weather in the valley was misty, and on the summit, clouds. At an elevation of around 600m we encountered a period of hail and sleet for about 10 minutes. Then back to light rain and heavy mist.

Eastern Fells
The Eastern Fells occupy the region between the A591 Keswick to Ambleside road and the lake of Ullswater to the west. The Helvellyn range forms the main spine of the group. To the south across the depression of Grisedale Hause, is the Fairfield group of fells.
