
PYB Scrambling - 5 Day Course: Day 3: Crib Goch to Snowdon. Started at Pen-y-Pass at 9:15 am. Up onto Crib Goch path. Full day of scrambling on Crib Goch and Garnedd Ugain, to Snowdon Summit. Off the summit to the southeast. Completed the walk at 5:40pm in the dark with headlamps on.
After 2 day straight in gusty winds and heavy rain, the wind and rain died back for the day. Though misty and cloudy on Crib Goch and the Snowdon summit, the scramble of the ridgeline was not compromised by gusty winds.
Unlike the first two days of horrible weather, The group was able to take and share some photos (see below).

Snowdon Massif
Snowdon (Welsh: Yr Wyddfa) is the highest mountain in Wales, at an altitude of 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside Scotland. It is located in Snowdonia National Park (Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri) in Gwynedd, and has been described as "the busiest mountain in Britain". It is designated as a national nature reserve for its rare flora and fauna.
