Day 5 TMB La Fouly, Grand Col Ferret into Italy. Possibly the hardest day of the TMB, woke early and slowly climbed the 100m ish to the Grand Col Ferret. Highest point on the trail. First foot into Italy., and breathless views of two of the alps most iconic mountains Les Grand Jorasses and Mont Blanc. Took advantage of the bus into Cormayeur. Bad storms overnight with flash flooding.
