Description

AMI scrambling workshop day with Keith Ball and two others. We ascended Tryfan Bach, Bastow Buttress and part of the north ridge of Tryfan. Descent route was Nor Nor grooves. The main focus of the day was moving over mixed terrain, how to make things slicker and descending. It was an informative day out and good to work with someone as knowledgable and professional as Keith.

Area : Glyderau

The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
