Description

Today I was leading a 75 year old on an easy ramble from Darling How Car park and up the forestry tracks to Ullister Hill. From here we headed North onto Lord's Seat and along to Broom Fell and Widow Hause, before descending down into Darling How Plantation and back to the car park. An enjoyable day with hazy views, which would have been baking hot had it not been for the strong breeze!!

Area : North Western Fells

Essentially this area is encompassed by Lakes of Bassenthwaite, Derwent Water, Buttermere and Crummock Water with the southern boundary being the Honister Pass
