Description

A test of new boots today as I headed up from Darling How following forest tracks to Seat How, before heading off to Whinlatter Top and a circular finish down the steep slope of Brown How to Aitken Plantation and return to Darling How car park. A pleasant walk with superb visibility.

Area : North Western Fells

Essentially this area is encompassed by Lakes of Bassenthwaite, Derwent Water, Buttermere and Crummock Water with the southern boundary being the Honister Pass
