Mountains:⛰️ Carnedd Dafydd⛰️ Carnedd Gwenllian / Garnedd Uchaf⛰️ Carnedd Llewelyn⛰️ Garnedd Ugain⛰️ Glyder Fawr⛰️ Llechog⛰️ Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)
The Welsh 1000m Peaks is one of my favorite routes, and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. The weather was ideal, with clear skies, sunshine, and a gentle breeze, providing perfect conditions for the fell run. Covering 31.04 km with an ascent of 2780 meters, this route traversed some of Snowdonia's most iconic peaks, including Carnedd Dafydd, Carnedd Llewelyn, and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). The run was challenging but exhilarating, with stunning views from each summit. After completing the run, I spent the evening relaxing by swimming in one of the Snowdon tarns, which was a refreshing way to cool down after the intense effort. I then set up camp in a field in Capel Curig, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and reflecting on a day well spent in the mountains. This day was a perfect blend of physical challenge and relaxation, making it a truly memorable experience in one of my favourite mountain areas.

Area : Carneddau

The Carneddau (lit. "the cairns"; Carneddau is a Welsh plural form, and is sometimes anglicised to Carnedds) are a group of mountains in Snowdonia, Wales. They include the largest contiguous areas of high ground (over 2,500 or 3,000 feet (910 m) high) in Wales and England, as well as six or seven of the highest peaks in the country—the Fourteen Peaks. The range also encloses a number of lakes such as Llyn Cowlyd and Llyn Eigiau, and the Aber Falls waterfalls. It is delimited by the Irish Sea to the north, the Conwy valley to the east, and by the A5 road from Betws-y-Coed to Bethesda to the south and west. The area covers nearly 200 square kilometres, about 10% of the area of Snowdonia.
