A beautiful day starting with the first of this years' frost. We began from Rosthwaite and I was leading on a beginner's navigation day. We explored the area around Castle Crag and Lingy Bank, finishing with a pleasant walk through Low & High Hows Wood.
Area :North Western Fells
Essentially this area is encompassed by Lakes of Bassenthwaite, Derwent Water, Buttermere and Crummock Water with the southern boundary being the Honister Pass
