During a trip with the Manx Fell Runners to participate in the National Fell Running Relay Championships, we camped at a budget-friendly campsite in Moffat, Scotland. We arrived in the late afternoon, quickly set up camp, and then headed to a local pub for dinner, enjoying a relaxed evening before the race. The next morning, we left the campsite early as some of the group wanted to take part in the local Parkrun before heading to the relay location. The atmosphere at the relays was fantastic, and our team performed exceptionally well, finishing in the top 30—a great result for a team with such a varied mix of athletes.Overall, it was a memorable trip, combining the camaraderie of camping and dining together with the thrill of competition at the relays.
