A great day spent checking out a few scrambles with a view to taking clients up/preparing for my MIA assessment. I went up Tryfan Bach approach (grade 3), very worthwhile, and Nor Nor Buttress Variant (grade 3) another good scramble which detours into the gully near the top. I descended most of the Bastow Buttress Variant (grade 2/3) and then the last part of the gully back to heather terrace. This would be a great combination with clients.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
