Between Malham Tarn and Hawes, I buddied up with a fellow participant named Ruari to help keep each other moving at a faster pace. The wind picked up significantly during this section, with snow showers hitting hard. As the morning approached, I began to experience hallucinations due to extreme fatigue. Once the sun was fully up, the hallucinations subsided. The Cam High Road felt particularly long and grueling. We managed to reach the YHA in Hawes, where we took a much-needed sleep.
