The West Midlands MTA Team is pleased to offer once again, this highly successful climbing coaching evening, run by Climbing Coach Award Scheme provider, and MIC holder - Joby Maw Davis. The evening will include lots of useful tools and games for use on your climbing sessions, regardless of the environment you work in. The evening included tea and cake, and wall entry, and will run from 1800 - 2130hrs at Redpoint Birmingham. Reviewed discussion topics on insurance, fundamentals of climbing, climbing walls, climbing schemes and awards including GCSE syllabus. Games in a bouldering room to look at balance and agility, balance and coordination looking at precise footwork, flagging, use of hand and foot holds. Also looking at how to read a route for climbing for hands and feet and reviewed footage of climb for comparison on Tablet apps.
